Installation Guide

Get started with our application on any device
The Windows app helps you track your work efficiently.
Download the app to start now.
Installation Steps
  1. Download the Zip file and extract it.
  2. Run the Kestrel Pro applications/Exe File. Allow access to run the Desktop tool.
  3. Login into the tool with Custom Login/ SSO. Select the preassigned project from the list. Add the task to the project.
  4. Select the task for the project.
  5. The tool is all set to use.
The macOS (Intel) app helps you track your work efficiently.
Download the app to start now.
Installation Steps
  1. Download the .dmgfile and drag and drop Kestrel Pro in the application.
  2. Please open it and go to system (preferences/settings).
  3. Go to the security and privacy tab.
  4. Go to general, and click on open anyway.
  5. Go to accessibility and enable JAVA/BASH.
  6. Login into the tool with custom login/SSO.
  7. Select the preassigned project from the list and add the task to the project.
  8. Select the task, and the tool is all set to use.

  1. Let one screenshot be captured.
  2. You will get a pop-up as soon as Kestrel Pro captures the screenshot.
  3. Click on the system preferences, and select screen recording.
  4. Enable JAVA/BASH and Kestrel Pro; if it is not present, click to add Kestrel Pro.
  5. You will be redirected to quit and open the application.

  1. Download the .deb file.
  2. Run the .deb file.
  3. Install the Kestrel Pro application.
  4. Login into the tool with Custom Login/SSO. Select the preassigned project from the list. Add the task to the project.
  5. Select the task, and the tool is all set to use.
Note:

If you are a Linux 22 user, then you have to install LightDM using the command – sudo apt install lightdm

You will be prompted with multiple choices, where you can proceed further by choosing LightDM from the options. Then, you are required to restart the system.

The Mobile app helps you track your work efficiently.

The mobile app can be downloaded from the Play Store and the App Store.

Installation Steps
  1. Download the application from the app store.
  2. Install the application on your mobile.
  3. Fill in the required credentials, which are your email ID and password.
  4. You can now see the KestrelPro dashboard.
  5. Select the assigned Project.
  6. Select the relevant task.
  7. Start the timer using the "Play and Pause" button.
  8. You can change the Project and Task from the dropdown.
  9. Refresh the data in the application by clicking on the "Refresh" button placed next to the Project list.
  10. You can Sync the time by clicking on the "Sync Time" option available in the menu, which can be used by clicking the three dots at the bottom right corner.
  11. Clear the cache by clicking on the "Clear Cache" option available in the menu, which can be used by clicking the three dots at the bottom right corner.
  12. Log out of the application by clicking on "Log Out" option available in the menu, which can be used by clicking the three dots at the bottom right corner.
